Class of 2010!- Dhivya

Hey everyone! Today was my last day of school! Later tonight I will be graduating from Westfield Middle School.:) I will upload some pictures later but below I have uploaded some pictures from the end of the year field trip we went on yesterday. We took a trip to the actual city of Chicago. We went to Melinium Park, a cruise on Lake Michigan, and saw a Blue Man group show. Enjoy!

Baby Project !!- Dhivya

For health class I had to take care a baby for one night. These are some pictures of her. Her name is Sakura Teriyaki. She cried about three times during the night, and every time I would have to rock her till she would laugh. Most of the time I would have to rock her for 30 minutes, it was very tiring. Well that was pretty much my baby experience! :)

My Holiday Break- Dhivya

Hey everyone! It has been two days since school has started after our 2 week holiday break. During the break I did many things. I watched Aadhavan, I liked it so much . I have become an even bigger fan of Surya after watching the movie. Speaking of the New Years party, we had another Talent Show this year. This year I was an announcer, I spoke in Tamil the whole time! I also played my flute. I played a few Tamil movie songs. I played Oru Malai and Suttum Vizhi from the movie Ghajini, those two songs were the biggest hits of my performance! Along with those songs I also played Manjal Veyil. I also went to Hanna Auntie's house for Christmas, we had fun there. We watched a lot of movies, we watched Kanden Kadhalai, Kandha Kottai, and Thiru Thiru Thiri Thiru. Then we also had a Maradhani Party, were we all got maradhani on our hands, we had a really fun day. There was alot of snow so I built a snowman and went sleading. Also Ashwin and I have been learning Thirupavai during this month of Margahli. Overall this Holiday Break was really fun! :)

Our First Day of School

Hey everyone!! We really miss you!! Today was our first day school. It was only till 12:00. Tomorrow is our first full day. We still have jet-lag so me and Ashwin woke at 5:00 in the morning we watched tv. We are 90% finished unpacking. The sweets and snacks are very tasty. Thanks everyone for a wonderful vacation!!!!!
